I'm so excited

As hard as I tried I couldn’t resist the double coupons at Kmart last week.
Thursday night I went through my coupons and made a list of things I
wanted to get and attached the coupons and stuck them in my binder.
Friday I was off to Kmart with coupon binder in hand. I didn’t buy
anything that I didn’t have a coupon for. Already having a list and the
coupons out was a big help. As I picked up the item I put the
corresponding coupon in the file folder, if I decided not to get the
product the coupon went into the pouch. Having the binder with me was
also a big help as I flipped through several times to find other
coupons to use.
Since it was so late in the week most of the stuff I had high value coupons for was gone.
My best deals were: 3- 6oz tubes of crest for .49 ea savings of $9.00
Rice cakes free savings of $2.49
64 oz ocean spray .79 savings of $3.00
trident gum free
Total before coupons $222.90
coupon total $115.41
Total after coupons $107.49
Not bad for the first time doing this.

Yay YOU! Nice haul for a newbie! Love the pic, I really need to start posting photos of my bargains. It really shows what coupons will get ya.

Keep up the good work. I am going to go shopping in the next couple of days and will post my finds. We went to BJ's the other day and I spent $202 w/tax and got the following:

Large jar of minced garlic
30 pack of Charmin Toilet Paper
8 pack of Scotties two ply tissues (250 in each box)
2 very large bottles of Clorox bleach
2 loaves of bread
2 dozen eggs
1 carton of half and half
1 Large container of Snuggle (pour spout on container)
15 pounds of potatoes
1 head of lettuce
15 lb bag of cat food
16 pack of Irish Spring bath soap
100 pack of large trash bags
2 large catsup
3 large jars of Ragu Spaghetti sauce
1 large pork loin ($17+, cut into four roasts)
1 package sweet sausage (16 links, 4 meals)
1 large container of cooking oil (2 gallons?)
1 large package potato chips
750 count container of Ibuprofen
700 paper plates

I think that is it. I was impressed until we had to carry it all in to the house and put it away! lol
